Stress induced lunch on a Sunday afternoon

Cooking is therapeutic.
Induces sense of accomplishment,  satisfaction at whipping out something and fills the tummy. Plus, it is fun tinkering in the kitchen and pulling out something following my own time.
The last I cooked an Asian meal with the pot was a year ago, steamed a flat fish (the one with both its eyes are on one side of its head. A posting of that another day). Here's to weekends of happiness in the kitchen again!

Chicken curry 101, the ingredients from Giant:
- pack of chicken pieces, half  RM4.71
- bag of potatoes RM2.69
- one carrot RM0.20
- curry powder RM1.35
- fresh coconut milk RM1.99
Twenty mins later and Voila, dip bread (RM2) in sauce and bon provecho!
Damage: RM13 for 2 pax

Food for thought: When stress gets overwhelming,  it's paralyzing.

"I tend to be “all-or-nothing,” so I also examine my commitments and start saying “no” a little bit more. Mostly I take stress as a sign that I am doing too much. It’s a great warning signal that I need to go back to the basics again—to slow down, let love in, let go of “doing” so much and just “be” for a while."
