A resignation letter - 4th.

I've done it three times. Still, there's never a good way to do this. I haven't found a good way to brooch the subject. An hour later, both ends emerged with their egos bruised, knees scrapped but none-the-wiser.

My journey continues. I hope for the best for myself of course and my friends who are still on the ship. I have docked. Theirs continue. Farewell, comrades!

(TO THOSE WHO GOOGLED, THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A RESIGNATION LETTER!)

Dear Mr Director,

The purpose of this letter is to announce my resignation from (insert Company). As per my employment contract, I am giving two months’ notice from this date.

This was not an easy decision to make, on my part. It’s been a rewarding journey and I've enjoyed working for you and a vibrant team dedicated to deliver quality and excellence on time. Thank you for the opportunity to work with such an enthusiastic and productive group of people.

I will always have the fondest memories of my time spent here. I wish you and the company all the best. I endeavor to make the handover as smooth as possible.

I do hope our paths cross again in the future.
