Chronicles of a bad knee: Like roast pork descending a hill

What an eventful day.

On 20 September 2009, a pair of old college friends hiked up No.3 via the trail at Youth Park. One of them had massive sweat retention from the lack of exercise. Living in KL had not been easy on her sweat glands. The mission was to SWEAT IT OUT. Unbeknowst to them, what a trip it'd be to complete the task.

There had been a little accident. LITTLE. During the descend from No.3 via Youth Park. Mid-way through the track i slipped n sprained my bad knee. So now i'm on crutches *slaps head*

After the slip, it was like my knee achieving enlightenment. With a mind of its own now, my left leg just would not budge. It was trembling slightly though like a macarena jig in its soul. So we rested at the accident spot for half an hour or so.

An indian family lent me a tongkat.

An ah pek told me past historical stories of how so-and-so case and 911 was dialed, weak-heart-ah-pek had to call for 911 when he was at the loo at the peak lalalallala. He was chanting 911 at every other senstence.

A group of descending mountain bikers rumbling at like what 110kmph nearly left tyre tracks all over me. They called for 991.

A pair of 16 year old or so young birds offered advice on how not to move my knee.

Two burly men ascended to the plight of my friend who descended to look for help.

The red crescent team arrived in a little less than 15 minutes. And i was assisted with the descend via a stretcher.

Can you imagine the entourage, people?

So we did descend with lotsa sweat. I felt like plattered roast pork descending a hill ala thaipusam style. Very royal.
